    Description

This is an original, 1st edition, red cloth hardback edition fully titled
A History of the Henry Family From its beginnings in this Country to the present time
    by John Flournoy Henry
published in 1900 by the John P. Morton & Company of Louisville, Kentucky.  It has 125 pages but is not indexed so I cannot do any index checks.
This genealogy presents some of the descendants of Robert HENRY, a said to be a native of Campbellton, or Aberdeen, Scotland, and those of of his 2nd son, Rev. Robert HENRY (d. 1767) and the Rev's wife, Jean JOHNSON, said to have been "born upon the Atlantic" as her parents were on their way to America from Ireland.
Rev. Robert HENRY came to America in about 1740 and settled in Charlotte County, Virginia.  Robert and Jean had seven children; Samuel, Daniel, Jane (or Jean), William, Robert, Sally, and John Todd.  All of these children migrated to Kentucky (Christian, Mercer, Scott Counties, but with connections in other counties, as well.)   These children married into the families of; CAREY, IRVINE, KEENE, ROACH, HORTON, SMITH and SPEAKE.
The author offers clues to a connection to Patrick HENRY and family lines are noted as going into Alabama, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and others.
This book is in good condition with no pages or tissues missing.  However, the binding has become very weak and it will require gentle use unless rebound.  Please see photos.
