Hardback Book of the "Ancestors and Descendants of Charles Humphries (d.1837) of Union District , South Carolina 1677-1984.Written by Brent Howard Holcomb, certified Genealogist, and a descendant of Charles Humphries. Published in 1985. The book is in very good shape with some scuffing to lower edge of front cover. No writing of underlining except for previous owners signature as can be seen in the photo. Some foxing on the inside of the front and back cover. No tears and the spine is tight.
It has 228 pages, and includes an index.  It measures 10 1/4 inches long and 7 1/4 inches wide. The last page before the index speaks of one slave, Uncle Dan Humphries, owned by the Humphries family. Included is an original announcement of the publication of the book. See photos.
