this radio is NOT the right one for you. Some models require modification or mounting brackets.

Some F-150, Expedition and Navigator vehicles may have some inner dash plastic that keeps the radio from
sliding in all the way. This is not structural and can be easily removed with a dremel or other small cutting tool.
And also some 2001 and 2002 Explorers and Mountaineers have a different mounting system. They use bolt-on
brackets at the bottom of the unit. Ford radios are extremely easy to install. It takes 15-20 Minutes to install one. Check the plug in before you Buy.
