Very Nice Original Rochester Quadrajet Carb 7040274 that is for a 1970 Pontiac 455 Auto Transmission for California / West Coast Cars (High Altitude).
This is a Rare California Carb.
7040274 WE Dated 2359
Very good early 1970 Date of 2359 (235th day of 1969).
This carb has its beautiful original gold coloring under the dirt that is on it. The casting is beautiful and pit free.
The aluminum Vent tube on top is squashed a little as shown in photos.
Original Throttle Lever is still attached.
