Note:
When using the 53-CGX tank with a GPA series pump a 3/8" NPT pipe plug will be needed to block off the internal fuel tank pickup tube.

Summary:
Was a easy change out, I didn't need the straps that came with the tank. I used the originals, just put longer bolts at the rear of tank. Saved trying to cut, drill holes and fit measurements on new straps.

Summary:
Tank is deeper than stock. Includes strap material but you have to fabricate them (cut, drill). The stock fuel lines and exhaust will not fit as is. Lines must be bent and exhaust rerouted. No fittings or size information included so you have to figure that out. One wrong size and you just ruined a tank. Says direct fit but it is not by any means. An amateur would have some trouble with this and figure they got the wrong product. The tank is great quality and looks great but you should inform customers what they need to make it fit. Got it in filled with gas and cranked it right up. Product works great.

Return Policy
